The night before our #calledup game in Lakewood, we received a message from Amy DeMichele, Lakewood BlueClaws Marketing Manager, explaining the @BlueClaws social media folks would be looking for our tweets. Even more, she invited all of us to toss out a first pitch at the game!

We met Amy 30 minutes before game time where she led us through the inner hallways of First Energy Park until we made it to the BlueClaws dugout. We met the manager, Mickey Morandini, and yucked it up with hitting coach Greg Legg, who recommended we throw from the pitching rubber even though the staff would ask us to throw from the front of the mound. With our silver commemorative first pitch BlueClaws balls, we took Greg’s advice.
